Are you a Facebook user? I am constantly using the Facebook application on my smartphone a daily basis. I am using Facebook to communicate with long last friends and recent business contacts. These wonderful smartphone apps have made communication with my friends and family a lot easier. It makes it so worth it. The future possibilities are endless with this type of social media.
Here is another great reason to sign up for Facebook today. I recently heard the news that Delta airlines is trying out a new Facebook app to help communicate with their airline customers. Also, Delta airlines announced that the airline travelers can book and check their airline travel through Facebook. Delta has noticed that most of the airplane passengers are using Facebook while using the in-flight wifi during their flights. Here are five ways that I would use Delta airlines with new Facebook app.

1.Checking the last minute deals.
I love checking airlines web sites to see if I can get a cheaper flight to my favorite destinations in the world. Delta will now be able to offer certain amount of limited seats to customers on selected flights with their Facebook app.

2. Communicating with other fellow passengers.
It is going to be nice to be able to communicate with fellow passengers to see if they like the service to certain cities. You will be able to send a message or photo to other people. Also, you will be nice to see who is sitting next to you. Also, you will be able to see if the other person from your field is taking the flight. .

3. Communicating with customers’ service.
I can imagine that the customers will be able to send comments about the wonderful flights or certain problems on the flights. It is going to be nice to send great customers service reviews to the airline. The power of social networking is through the review of so many consumer products. Many people are starting to review a lot more items online. Also, they may be able to send a short video of the problem too.

4. Notify my relatives or friends about my future travel.
You are able to link your calendar or personal events with your Facebook account. Your family and friends are able to see your travel plans. Syncing your calendar will help you with the organization of your travel plans.

5. Getting technology updates on future plans with the company.
I love getting email from companies when they are announcing new products. With the use of Facebook, these companies are able to announce certain new ideas through social media. I love companies in which they are always trying to improve themselves.

In all, the sky is the limit with social networking. New open source applications are always coming out with great things to explore. When, you can see photos and videos from all your friends and relatives from around the world. These applications will only get better in time. Social networking will help bring the world closer together. I love the fact that we are moving forward in technology.
