Big Goals and Big Dreams!

Well, let this wonderful journey begin. I am really excited about the upcoming year. I have so many personal goals to accomplish this year. I need to find a better job with more opportunities for myself. Also, I would like to control my work schedule a lot more. I want to travel a lot more this year with my job. I am really tired of a lot of things at my present job but I am not willing to take a chance on my own dreams. I can sit there for another nine years and complain about my job. I am really kicking myself a lot about some of my decisions in life but I am happy with a lot of them too. I am really afraid of falling on my face. People will start to laugh at me if I don’t make it. I have nothing to lose at all. I can hear them say a lot of things about me. You are wasting your time with this dream. I shouldn’t worry about these people at all. They should get me more motivate toward my goals. Follow your dreams is the best advice that I can give someone. They shouldn’t control my life or my decisions. I am always giving all this free advice to people about their lives but I need to apply these to my life. My goal is to win three tournaments on the Nationwide Tour this year. How can I accomplish this goal? I was looking at my drivers and preventers for my goals. Well, like the quote said to me. There are three different types of people.
People who make things happen, People who will watch things happen, People who will wonder what happen.
I want to make it happen in my life. I am really tired of wondering what will happen. What can I do today so I can win on the Nationwide Tour this year?
My biggest weakest is that I am hitting my driver all over the place.
I am going to use the tips in the Golf Digest Magazine. I am not break my wrist on the takeaway.
Drivers:
• Quite the critics: People said that I can’t do it. Not good enough in their eyes.
• Freedom to work my own schedule
• My own boss
• Travel
• Meet new people
• Doing something that you love to do
• Challenge myself to get better
• Financial reasons
• Happiness
• Love a challenge
• Play with the best players
• Play nice golf courses around America
• Getting back into shape
• Wanting to be the best
• Number 1 on the money list
• PGA Tour Card For 2009
Preventers
• Not good enough to compete
• Not enough experience
• Bills
• Obligations to other job
• Stable paycheck
• Failure
• Too old
• Bad Shape
• Unrealistic goals
In my next blog, I am going to break things down my goals a lot more. I am going to look at my long range goal and we are going to break it down into little parts. See you on the PGA Tour.
Staying Positive At Work!
Geo.
