“Are you in your job to do something, or are you in your job for something to do?”

I am always asking myself this quote when I have a rather tough day with the students at school. Why did I get into this business? Sometimes, I feel my job is like a big day care at times. My students are always finding things to stay off task when we are trying to get things done in my classroom. My students are really stubborn at times and I don’t feel great when they are off task with the immature ways. Other times, I am really happy with the progress of the students in my classroom. I have some really smart students but they are really influence by the lower achieving students in the classroom. I really like my job a lot but it is really draining at times.
