Above all else, we must be able to believe in our leaders.
Quote:” Above all else, we must be able to believe in our leaders. We must believe that their word can be trusted If you don’t believe in the messenger, you won’t believe the message.”
So, true because we have so many meeting about the negative test scores at our school. I am working at a school where the school is in program improvement for the 5th straight year. The principal would talk to us about raising the test scores and many of the teachers wouldn’t listen to anything said in the meeting. Also, the principal would tell us the implications of the scores but the teacher weren’t buying anything at all. The principal would plea with these teachers and the teacher wouldn’t respond to anything at all. I finally found out that the teachers just didn’t believe in the messenger at all.
